Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) received a grant to increase dual enrollment among high school students, particularly within the Latino community. To help achieve this, Muse Group partnered with LTCC and South Tahoe High School (STH) to form College Bound Lake Tahoe (En Camino al Colegio) a collaborative task force focused on educational access and community empowerment.

Website Design & Content Creation
We designed a dedicated bilingual landing page for the campaign, providing resources, event information, and dual enrollment benefits. The content was optimized for mobile-first access and written with accessibility in mind to reach all literacy levels in the community.
Community Outreach & Print Marketing
To supplement our digital efforts, we designed and mailed awareness flyers to households across the district. These print pieces were tailored to explain the value of dual enrollment in a simple, visually engaging way that resonated with families unfamiliar with college-readiness programs.
Event Planning & Engagement
Muse Group worked with LTCC and STH to coordinate bilingual informational events where parents and students could speak directly with program representatives. These events helped demystify the dual enrollment process, increase trust, and encourage attendance.
Direct Communication Strategy
To further our reach, we implemented an email newsletter and SMS campaign targeting parents and caregivers directly with reminders, program information, and event updates—driving both engagement and attendance.
Public Relations
Our team also secured earned media coverage in local outlets, including interviews and stories that featured real student voices and parent testimonials. These PR hits amplified the campaign’s visibility and encouraged broader community support.

Throughout this campaign we realized that the parents are the ones to target not the students and that helped the growth of this campaign to grow exponentially. This campaign not only exceeded industry standards, but also helped establish a foundation of trust and excitement around the dual enrollment program at LTCC. Through culturally relevant messaging and an inclusive strategy, College Bound Lake Tahoe (En Camino al Colegio) successfully moved the needle on educational access in the South Tahoe community.
