Higher Education Full-Service Campaign
Lake Tahoe Community College
Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) received a grant to increase dual enrollment among high school students, particularly within the Latino community. To help achieve this, Muse Group partnered with LTCC and South Tahoe High School (STH) to form College Bound Lake Tahoe (En Camino al Colegio) a collaborative task force focused on educational access and community empowerment.
Our Approach:
We launched a bilingual, full-scale marketing campaign aimed at engaging both students and their caregivers—especially parents, who play a critical role in the dual enrollment decision-making process. Every element of the campaign was thoughtfully crafted to meet the audience where they are—online, at school events, and in their homes.
Social Media Marketing
We identified Facebook as the primary platform for reaching parents and caregivers and Instagram as the ideal channel for student engagement. Over six months, we developed a consistent posting schedule, created culturally relevant content in English and Spanish, and leveraged video storytelling to increase relatability and engagement.
The Impact:
Throughout this campaign, we discovered that the key to success was focusing on parents rather than students—a shift that fueled exponential growth. Not only did the campaign surpass industry benchmarks, but it also built a strong foundation of trust and excitement around LTCC’s dual enrollment program. By leveraging culturally relevant messaging and an inclusive strategy, College Bound Lake Tahoe (En Camino al Colegio) made meaningful strides in expanding educational access within the South Tahoe community.
